I made this snapshot of the solar system using JavaScript visual programming. It features many shapes, all of which are actually ellipses. A challenge in creating this visual was to create the stars using ellipses, just because there were so many of them making it very hard to do. But fortunately, I played with the sizes and location numbers a lot and was able to complete all the stars. Normal graphic design, although fast, can sometimes be a little bit less precise than coding a graphic design, where you can choose details up to a pixel of precision. I like graphic design in code because it's very varying and you can be more precise than ever.

In this project, I out together all of my skills that I learned earlier to make the Eiffel Tower in Gravit. I think that putting lines as the tower's structure made it look really good, and I'm happy with how it turned out. I chose to make the Eiffel Tower because when I first visited France when I was 10 years old, I saw all the different buildings and monuments and discovered France's diverse, organic-modern design which I have enjoyed ever since. I especially enjoyed seeing the Eiffel Tower, because of its masterful engineering and magnificent structure. I hope that you can enjoy it too through this graphic design.
In this new lesson, I learned how to use the various tools that are used to change and manipulate shapes in gravit. As you can see below, I was able to make some very interesting shapes, and the possibilities are limitless!
Today, I learned how to change layering, group elements, and align elements in Gravit. Here is a screenshot of my work.
From the fills and borders video, I learned how to change the border thickness, distance, and spacing, and with the fill, I learned how to change the transparency of an object, which I can use to create some very interesting designs!
I learned about selection tools in Gravit, and I also found out that with the subselect tool, you can make some very interesting and fun shapes. There are many options for what shapes your can make with these tools, so it was useful to learn it.
For Gravit, I learned how to sign in with my account to this particular website and I also learned how to use its various functions effectively. I think that this website will be a valuable tool for me to use in the future for graphic design.
Public DomainWith public domain photos, you are not required to do anything at all. You can do whatever you like with these photos without any consequences. AttributionWith this one, you can do anything you want with it, but the only thing you have to do is to give credit to the creator in your work. Attribution SharealikeFor this one, you can do anything except for creating a new license for your work. You must give credit to the creator, and you must follow the original license which the creator made. Attribution NoncommercialFor this one, the only thing you are not allowed to do is sell the photo for money. But besides that, the only thing you have to do is to give credit to the creator. Attribution Noncommercial Sharealike For this one, you aren't allowed to sell it or make a new license. You have to follow the original license, and you have to give credit to the creator. Attribution NoderivsFor this one, you can do anything you want except for creating derivative works. The only thing you must do is to give credit to the creator. Attribution Noncommercial NoderivsFor this one, you are allowed to do anything except for selling it and making derivative works with it. You must attribute the creator as well. CopyrightFor these kinds of pictures, you are not allowed to do anything with them unless you have the owner's permission. You may use them under fair use, but have to be careful with the extent of the fair use.
Graphic design is great! It so much more precise compared to real life drawing, and it's usually easy to use. I've used graphic design to create a few posters for my friends and for school. Graphic design is great, but sometimes it doesn't exactly produce the results I had hoped for. That's why I only use very select graphic design sites such as Piktochart and vectr. These programs have the rights elements for me to use. What are your thoughts on graphic design? I think that it's extremely useful and helpful for all professions and jobs. |
